We have a great opportunity to improve the quality of sidewalks on Fairfield Street, Lake Street, and Main Street. On September 15 there will be a special Bond vote to approve the sidewalks on these streets. If we understand it correctly, the repair of these sidewalks, which will also serve to protect against further winter damage to our water pipes, will be supported in part by State of Vermont funding.

These are projects which were endorsed some time ago by Walk & Bike St. Albans.

If you have walked the sidewalks of any of these streets, you know that the time for repair is long overdue. We hope that you will find time to get to City Hall on the 15th and vote to support these improvement projects.
