Join the Recreation Department for a tour of Quebec's renowned wine region! In a beautiful country setting, learn about the history of viticulture, the types of vines planted and the different methods of production. Most of all when visiting, sample and enjoy wines.
We will be visiting three different wineries in the Dunham area of Quecbec. Your reservation will include: Transportation to and from the vineyards; Winery tour with 6 tastings at Vignoble Gagliano; Boxed lunch of chicken and ham sandwiches, pasta salad and a piece of cake at Cotes d'Ardoise, the oldest vineyard in the region. Here you will have time to walk amongst the annual sculpture exhibition Nature et Creation, which includes 250 sculptures by Quebec artists. Wine tastings may be done on your own here, if you wish; Wine and cider tasting at Val Caudalies.
The trip will depart Barlow Street Community Center at 9:00 AM with a return time of 4:00 October 20th $60 Residents / $78 Non-Residents
