Our last triathlon of the season so get it while you can. The Sprint Triathlon offers a great introduction into the triathlon world and an opportunity to get out of your element. Not ready for all 3 back to back events? It’s ok, grab a friend and split it. We’re bringing teams back this year so there’s no excuse….get out there and get after it!!As with last year we’ll be offering the Olympic distance triathlon for those seasoned triathletes or those wishing to take their experience to next level. This race is also qualifies for the Vermont Senior Games Championship (VSGA). That’s 4 events in one day…talk about a race! If you do not want to be considered for the VSGA , please let us know. The races start with a swim at Shelburne Beach and monitored by race volunteers and/or lifeguards on several boats along the course. Following the swim, is a bike/run along the scenic country roads of Vermont. There will be a wave start for this race. Sprint distances will start 3:00 minutes after the Olympic distances. We’ll bring home our last racer with cheers across the finish line, and an award ceremony followed by a random raffle prize drawing. A wetsuit, donated by XTERRA, will be the grand prize but you MUST be present to win.
