Experience a fiery evening of tango and flamenco music with 8 Cuerdas at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center!

American soprano Sarah Cullins and Colombian guitarist Daniel Gaviria are the duo 8 Cuerdas, named for the eight “strings” that make up their two instruments and the artistic unity that this husband and wife team bring to their performances. Together they perform a concert of tango-inspired songs by Argentinian classical composers Carlos Guastavino and Alberto Ginastera, “nuevo” tangos by Astor Piazzolla, favorite flamenco and bolero-inspired pieces by Latin American and Spanish composers, and the show-stopping Bachianas Brasileiras #5 by Villa-Lobos.
