Our Back to Beach event in June was cancelled due to inclement weather! We are trying again and hoping Mother Nature is agreeable for an “end” of summer send off! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 18, 2015 for our Shelburne Beach Party. All Shelburne residents are invited to attend this special event. There is no charge to enter the beach for this event. The Recreation Department and Committee will provide the hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by the Dutchmill Family Restaurant at Shelburne beach from 6-8. We will also provide chips and condiments. We ask that you bring a dish to share with others—side dish, salad, dessert. We encourage you to bring your own place settings, in order to cut down on waste. There will be a bounce house to entertain the kids as well! This year we will have a raffle to help defray the cost of the ADA access ramp that is being installed in conjunction with the new lift. This is a welcome addition so all can enjoy our beach. We will be raffling some fabulous prizes. The tickets can be purchased at the Recreation Office or at the Barbecue for $2 each or 3 for $5.
