PossumHaw, in their first performance for the Island Arts Youth Scholarship Fund, will play Sunday August 9 at 6:30 on the lawn of the beautiful Grand Isle Lake House. The band is what the bluegrass and folk music scene is all about – excellent original acoustic music delivered with skill, sincerity and personality. Bring your own picnic starts at 5:30 (Mediterranean Mix cuisine will be available for purchase also). Tickets are $25 at the event ($20 in advance, see islandarts.org for locations). Children 12 and under are free.
