As many of you may know the Burlington Climate Action Plan specifically addresses the need to reduce cars and emissions from all vehicles in Burlington. CarShareVT is one organization that is helping to do that. If you want to find out more about CarShareVT and see how it has gotten many households to go from two vehicles to one and in some cases none come to a meet and greet and member mingle on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5;30-7:30 p.m. at the St. John's Club (9 Central Ave. in the Lakeside neighborhood). Even if you don't think this will work for you still stop by to check it out. It's a fabulous organization that is adding so much to Burlington. The cost savings from going from two cars to one is huge and it's not very expensive to join CarShare. And while you are there you get to have a few nibbles along with a cash bar while watching the sun lower over Lake Champlain. I hope to see you there!
