Seeking some inspiration this chilly winter? Join the Green Mountain Club for the annual winter speaker series, featuring stories of adventure, athleticism, science, and growth. Programs are free to attend and open to all.
In this Thursday's virtual presentation of "Paved Paradise: Highways, Wildlife Crossings and the Future of our Roaded Planet," ecologist and author Ben Goldfarb will discuss how our millions of miles of roads affect the wildlife we share the land with, and how we can work toward solutions that make the world safer for all living things. Ben is the author of the award-winning book "Crossings: How Road Ecology Is Shaping the Future of Our Planet." Join Ben and the GMC on Thursday, January 30, at 7 p.m. on Zoom.
