Nick Neddo, author of recently released book The Organic Artist, will share his techniques for creating art using natural materials at the Craftsbury Public Library on Sunday, August 2 at 7:00PM. Nick has been teaching wilderness survival and living skills, drawing and nature awareness to children and adults for over a decade. The Organic Artist provides a wealth of suggestions and processes for making one's own charcoal, pens, crayons, inks, paper, and sketchbooks. Nick challenges the reader to be more engaged with the outside world through ancient-inspired craft techniques.

During his presentation, Nick will show the group how to create their own materials for creating art. He will also have materials on hand for participants to try out for themselves. Nick will have copies of his book and his original artwork for sale at the program.
