The summer concert season is in full swing! Just last night, the Westford Summer Concert Series brought music to the Town Common with a band called The Fizz. The final concert in the series is on August 9 with the Mad Mountain Scramblers.

What about this coming Sunday, you say? Not to worry. This Sunday (August 2) will feature a summer concert tradition with the Westford, Fairfax, Fletcher town band performing on the Westford Town Common at 7pm. Instead of electric guitars and bass, think brass and woodwinds with trombones, trumpets, clarinets, and tubas! Local players, local music, local tradition. The tasty added bonus? This summer concert is combined with Westford's 20th annual ice cream social. Come down to the Common on Sunday evening for an ice cream sundae, tunes, and community fun! At $1.50 per scoop (includes all the toppings), it's quite a deal, as well as a fundraiser for continued operation of the Brick Meeting House. This is a rain or shine event. In case of rain, ice cream service and band concert will be in the Brick Meeting House.
