This Friday at 10 AM, the Waterbury Public Library is pleased to host scientist-turned-author Rebecca Rupp for a fun and innovative hands-on science program for kids age 4 and up. During the program, Ms. Rupp will help kids answer such questions as "Who invented plastic? What about soda pop? Oxygen?", and engage in some hands-on experiments.
Ms. Rupp is the award-winning author of many fiction and non-fiction books for children, among them The Dragon of Lonely Island, Octavia Boone’s Big Questions, and After Eli. She also maintains a huge blog of book lists and resources for parents and educators.
