Learn basic framing techniques in this unique class offered by Island Arts. You will learn how to make basic frames with wood and metal, how to cut a mat and sources for frames and framing supplies. Bring a photo or any type of art work to the first class that is approximately 8X10 for framing in a 11X14 frame. Each student will receive frames , matting, foam core and glass. Equipment and tools will be provided. The class is being taught by Lyna Lou Nordstrom, an award winning artist and experienced teacher. The class will be held August 11, 12, and 13 from 1:00-3:30.
