The Calais Lakes and Streams Committee (CLSC) invites you to a attend a special presentation.
Charlie Browne, the former executive director of the Fairbanks Museum, will be presenting - SHORELAND PROTECTION FOR BIRDS on Thursday, August 27th at the Maple Corner Community Center. He taught field and lab programs in ornithology and avian ecology for students, teachers, and the public while at the Museum.
This family friendly, multimedia presentation will introduce the audience to the birds that spend part or all of their lives on the shores and in the shallows of Vermont's lakes and ponds. Charlie Browne will also explain the threats facing this critical wildlife habitat and the steps Vermonters can take to help protect this special part of our environment.
Potluck will be at 6:30pm and the presentation will start at 7:30pm.
