The SHVFD will be again holding their 4th of July chicken barbeque. Chickens may be ordered and prepaid starting at 7:00 am at the South Hero Fire Department on July 4th. Families may bring a cooler for their chickens to be placed in as they are done if you wish. This is a South Hero tradition and the Fire Department is happy to bring back the delicious chickens. Chickens are organic and the cost will be the same as last year, half a chicken for $8.00. The SHVFD Auxiliary will also be selling reflexive address signs and SHVFD supporter t-shirts for $10.00.
