Hello neighbors. I have recently expressed interest in organizing a Boy Scout/Cub Scout group in the ONE. As it happens, on Sunday the 28th, there is a city-wide recruitment event to encourage interested boys and potential adult leaders to join Troop 650 and Pack 651 in the NNE.

Closer to home, please consider joining with me in possibly providing boys in the ONE with the opportunity to develop leadership and "outdoor" skills which is more available to boys in other parts of the city. I will attend the recruitment event and hope to see others from the ONE who would also like to learn more about establishing a Troop/Pack in the ONE. Please contact me with questions or advice. Calling all boys 7- 17 ! Were you ever a scout or did you drop out? Think it’s too late ? It’s never too late to join or rejoin the Boy Scouts of America. Come to our recruitment day, June 28th, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Elks Lodge, on North Avenue here in Burlington. Bring your questions, bring your old pinewood derby car, or come build a new one to race on our new aluminum track, give our trebuchet a shot, put up a tent, and many more fun activities.
