Lake Wise Leader Trainings
The four hour trainings are designed for all those interested in lakes, native plants, landscaping, and learning about bio-engineering practices that help pro- tect water quality. They are designed for all backgrounds with no experience in natural resources necessary.
Participants Will:
▪Learn and have fun while becoming “experts” in lake protection practices; ▪Discover how and why to landscape with native plants;
▪Recognize techniques to prevent ero- sion and control stormwater runoff
Two hours— Inside Lessons on Lake Friendly Practices
Two hours—Outside Site Assessment Practice

June 22nd —Lake Champlain Basin Pro- gram, Grand Isle with site visit to Isle La Motte; 9:00am -1:00pm
