Calling all meat lovers!
Join me at the Slow Food Heritage Breeds Supper on Sunday, June 28th!
Part barbecue, part potluck, it will be a free, tasty celebration of Vermont's heritage breed meats.

What: Slow Food Heritage Meats Supper
When: June 28, 5-7:30 pm
Where: Half Pint Farm, located in Burlington's Intervale. Rain or shine!
Cost: Free! Just bring a potluck contribution (a pre-made dish or a raw cut for the grill)

Slow Food Vermont is teaming up with Humaneitarian to offer a celebration of historic farm animal breeds that grow slower and are usually more flavorful than their industrial counterparts. Chef Luke Stone of The Hindquarter will be on hand to grill raw cuts of heritage meat that YOU bring to this potluck-style dinner - or bring a dish made with heritage breed meat. Slow Food will provide everyone who RSVP’s with a list of heritage breed farmers in northern Vermont and the places where you can buy their products. Farmers will also be at the dinner to talk about their animals.
