Every minute a child dies of a water related disease (water.org) Women and children spend 140 million hours a day collecting water (water.org) Water is one of the major issues of our time. You can do something to help improve this problem while getting great exercise in your local community.

A student at Harwood Union High School has spent the last two years planning a 6K ( the average distance traveled daily to collect water) run or walk for Water.org at Harwood Union High School. She joined forces with the Harwood Interact club this year and now the event is just around the corner. We hope you will consider supporting this effort by joining us on Sunday, May 31st at Harwood Union High School. Registration begins at 8:30 and the run/walk begins at 10:00. We have received some great door prizes to be raffled off for participants. Cost is $25 for 13 and older, $15 for 8-12 years, under 8 is free. Group discounts are also available. Please come out and help make this event a success. We can't do it without you!
