The Essex Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 in the conference room at the Town Offices, 81 Main St. The agenda includes the following items:

- Election of officers
- Public comments
- Two consent agenda items:
1. Injury to Excellence wants to add an outdoor recreation area at 74 Upper Main St.
2. Armand LeClerc wants to relocate the residential building envelope for a property at 43 Discovery Road.
- LeClerc is also proposing a Final Plan Amendment to add a single-family home at 35 Discovery Road. The home would require a waiver to use a driveway already shared by two houses; town regulations only allow two homes to use a single driveway.
- Mansfield Industrial Associates, LLC and Blackrock Construction, LLC will have a Conceptual Plan presentation to discuss the possibility of building a memory care facility at 1 Allen Martin Drive in the Resource Preservation District - Industrial (RPD-I) zoning district.
