There will be a special meeting of the RMS Renovations Committee on Tuesday, May 26th at 8:00 am in the Rumney Library.

What I got from last week meeting.
The $3,000,000 bond bid came in at $450,000 over budget if you do not count the $300,000 contingency fund.
A waiver to rebid is being requested from the Secretary of Education.
The recommendation is to request cutting $600,000 of items from the submitted bids as part of the new $3,000,000 proposal.
If the contractor spends less than $3,000,000 the board will add back additional work from the items cut.

Please attend if you want to know what items are being cut and why would the contractor will spend less than the approved contract amount.
