Love Smugglers Notch? How would you like to volunteer at Barnes Camp? Green Mountain Club and the Friends of Smugglers Notch are seeking volunteers to staff the historic Barnes Camp at Smugglers’ Notch this summer and fall. We will be holding an Open House on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 8:00am – 4:00pm to garner interest in the volunteer program and welcome visitors to the newly renovated space.

Volunteers with strong customer service skills and a knowledge of the natural and cultural significance of the area are needed. Shifts are four hours long on weekends and holiday Mondays from July Fourth through Columbus Day.
Volunteer benefits include free passes to Smugglers’ Notch State Park, a membership to the Green Mountain Club, free lift passes at Smugglers’ Notch Resort, free toll road or gondola passes from Stowe Mountain Resort, and more.
