On Friday, May 29th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Deanna French and Tom LaDoux will be at the Lanpher Memorial Library with the HOT OFF THE PRESS copies of their new book "Spunky Lamoille Boys in Blue, Too". In the second installment of the "Spunky Lamoille" series, Deanna and Tom have included more letters from Lamoille Co. Civil War Soldiers (including one found in the wall of a home in Hyde Park!), they have the history of Women who Served, Soldiers from Lamoille Co. who enlisted in other states, links to Revolutionary War soldiers and Civil War soldiers from the county...Black Betty, the Confederate Bell (now residing in Morrisville) and much more.
The event on the 29th will begin with a 10 question quiz...with a tie breaker...so get here at 3:00 to participate...and win some prizes!
Copies of the Book will be on sale with all proceeds benefiting the Lamoille Area Cancer Network.,,,it's all about Lamoille County!
