Beginning with a brief visual history of Green Roofs around the world, Beth will show images of many types of contemporary Green or Living Roofs being built around the world today.

The focus of the presentation will be small scale, lightweight green roofing that can be used on homes, porches, garages, chicken coops, and sheds. Most of the examples to be shown are owner built and designed. They are a delightful, functional and an ecologically healing addition to any home or garden.

Beth recently became certified as a Green Roof Professional through the non-profit organization Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, Toronto, Canada.
