Join the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library at our first book sale of 2025, in the Library's Main Reading Room, on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 2, from 12-5 p.m. The bargain blow-out sale includes fiction and nonfiction paperback and hardcover books, and children's books, all for $1 each, as well as a large selection of science fiction books and a wide range of CDs for $2 each. At these prices you can buy loads of books to help entertain you through the winter!
Help us find new homes for these books and CDs and raise money for library programming: A win-win proposition! We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and, of course, cash. If you have any questions or would like to help out at the February sale, please email us at fletcherfriends@gmail.com.
Special Topics Bookshelves: Psychology and Health
Each month the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library feature a selection of books for sale on our special topic shelves next to the circulation desk. Throughout January, you will find books on psychology and health. Come see what will pique your interest. Who knows, you may even find something that will help you keep your new year's resolutions on track! You can also find a large selection of fiction and nonfiction books for sale on the bookcases across from the circulation desk, as you enter the children's section of the library. Visit us at https://www.fletcherfriends.org/ to learn about upcoming events and additional ways to support the library.
