The conference is just around the corner and we are gearing up to have it be the best one yet!

With incredible speakers, panelists, event staff, and volunteers, the SLS community is one that embodies hope in action. The three days of the conference promise to be inspiring, informative, invigorating, and, above all, fun! We would love to have you join us to ensure that the Summit runs smoothly and effortlessly.

The Slow Living Summit is an annual conference that takes place June 3-5 in Brattleboro, Vermont. This year's Summit is described as "a mindful exploration of the journey of food, from farming and food entrepreneurship to food systems to nourishment to food justice and policy". The Summit is subtitled "Food, Mindfully” and draws national and international thought leaders and activists in the Slow Food movement.

The Summit takes place just before Strolling of the Heifers Weekend (June 5-7) a celebration of agriculture that aims to connect people with healthy local foods and with the farmers and food producers who bring it to them. The colorful centerpiece of the weekend is the famous Strolling of the Heifers Parade, in which future farmers lead heifer calves up Brattleboro's historic Main Street.
