The Selectboard has concluded that a town wide water softening project is not a viable option for addressing the hard water situation in Proctor. To assist customers in determining how to proceed, the Selectboard has scheduled an informational meeting for 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 8 at the Proctor Free Library Community Room. They have invited representatives from the VT Drinking Water Division and suppliers of water softening equipment to attend and answer questions.
