Soteria Open House & Community Potluck

Past event
Mar 26, 2015, 10 AM to 1 PM

After 2 years of development and a long winter of construction, Pathways Vermont's Soteria Project is finally ready to have visitors! We invite you to drop by 226 Manhattan Drive on Thursday, March 26 between 10 am and 1 pm to check out the space, meet our awesome crew and learn more about the program. Light refreshments will be provided.

Soteria will be a residence for individuals going through a mental health crisis that takes a holistic approach and supports residents to actively navigate their experience. The program is designed to follow in the footsteps of and is named after a program that operated in San Francisco’s Bay Area in the 1970s. The program’s approach is grounded in the belief that developing insight and understanding of such experiences can promote healing and long-term success. At Soteria residents will receive intensive psychosocial and relational support in a flexible, home-like environment.

We will also be hosting a neighborhood potluck that evening from 4 pm to 7 pm. We will be preparing a big pot of chili. Bring a dish if you wish, but definitely bring yourself!

PLEASE NOTE: Parking at the house will be limited to those with disabled parking plates or placards. For all others, parking is available in the immediate vicinity at North Champlain, Rose and Lafountain Streets. Carpooling is encouraged!
