A reminder about the book swap coming up April 4. The Friends of the Library will be sharing the O'Brien Community Center that day with the Winooski Youth Group. Please plan on stopping in to bid on their Silent Auction to raise money for the high school soccer fund. And bring your books to share at the Friends of the Library Book Swap, too. Below is the information regarding the Book Swap:
Book Swap
Saturday, April 4th
10 am to 2 pm
O’Brien Community Center
Tired of tripping over books you’ll never read again? Looking for an affordable way to stock up on new reading material? A book swap is where you bring gently used (or new) books and exchange them for new-to-you books.
Paperbacks and Hardcover accepted. Books must be in new or gently-used condition (covers on, no rips or tears, no coloring or writing on the pages).
Here are some of the types of books we hope you’ll bring:
▪ Mysteries ▪ Children’s books
▪ Young adult ▪ Book club reads
▪ Recent best sellers ▪ Thrillers
▪ Fantasy ▪ Non-fiction
▪ Science fiction ▪ Graphic novels
▪ Crafting books ▪ Autobiographies
▪ Classics ▪ Cook books
We will not accept textbooks or encyclopedias.
Even if you don’t have any books to exchange, stop in and find a book to take home!
