The Champlain Philharmonic welcomes spring with Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, and our Young Artist Series Winners, Erin Dundas and Nova Wang who are both talented violinists from Rutland High School. The concert will be at Green Mountain College, Ackley Hall, in Poultney at 7:30 PM on Sat, March 21. There will be a second performance at Town Hall Theater in Middlebury at 4:00 PM on Sun, March 22. Tickets are available at the door for both performances for $15 general admission, $10 seniors, and $5 students. The Champlain Philharmonic is a community orchestra with musicians from Middlebury, Rutland, and surrounding areas. Jim Lowe, Arts Editor of the Rutland Herald, wrote in a review of our Fall 2014 concert, “The Philharmonic delivered the magic of this gorgeous music”.
