The Visibility Study Info:
VTEL has a pending application before the Town to install a telecommunications tower at 185 Thistle Hill Road in Cabot, VT. As part of the local permitting process, VTEL is required to conduct a visual impact assessment. That assessment involves floating a 4-foot diameter, red, helium filled balloon at the tower location and at the approximate height of the tower. ADKE will then assess the visibility of that balloon from surrounding public vantage points, take photographs and create a report of findings.
The visibility study will be completed on:
Date: Tuesday March 10, 2015; with a backup weather day of Wednesday March 11.
Time: 9am - 11am

I am posting the information above for the community. Please note we will be scheduling a public hearing in April to allow for public comment on the proposed application. The application is available in the Town Clerk's office for review. The tentative date is April 8, 2015 for this meeting. I will post the confirmed date and time when available.
