Come join ex Sugarbush Executive Chef Kevin Ritchie, the founder of La Lu Farm in Warren, VT and Constancia Gomez, a native Argentinian living in the Mad River Valley, for a cultural evening.
Treat yourself the way the natives do, and learn to make empanadas (turnovers) stuffed with various delicious ingredients (corn, spinach, mozarella, meat). Constancia will have everyone making your own empanadas with different combinations of fillings. Fried or baked, they make a great food for serving to company or as the family dinner.
Never had Mate? Only had an Americanized version? Constancia will introduce you to the pleasures of this versatile tea as a hot, cold or enhanced beverage.
All food and materials included in the $45 fee.
To register email constanciag@gmail.com. Dinner will be served during the event and you will be able to take some treats home. Bring an apron and a container.
