Looking for some great winter fun? Check out Howard Center’s Curling Challenge fundraiser on Saturday, March 14, at Cairns Arena in South Burlington. Games begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Come watch 32 community teams and eight high school teams compete for the winning trophy. Semi-finals begin at 5:00 with a bagpiper leading the finalists onto the ice. Audience admission is free. The annual event raises more than $40,000 for Howard Center programs that provide crucial support to thousands of children, adults, and families each year. www.howardcenter.org or 488-6912.
