Family Concert: Sunday March 15th ~ "Espana" and "Instrument Petting Zoo"!

Please join the Vermont Philharmonic for their festive annual family concert at the Barre Opera House on Sunday, March 15 at 2 PM. This year’s lively theme is “Espana!”, with wonderful music of Spain. Lou Kosma will be conducting, with Robert Blais, Artistic Director, and the Green Mountain Youth Symphony playing alongside of the Vermont Philharmonic. The Vermont Philharmonic is excited to announce that following the concert there will be an “instrument petting zoo”. Bring your children and introduce them to the enchanting world of musical instruments! The concert is made possible by Community National Bank, Denis, Ricker and Brown, Insurance and Ellis Music. Denis Ricker and Brown is also providing a prize of $150 of music lessons to a lucky child attending the concert and petting zoo. Ellis Music is providing instruments and assistance for the zoo.
