Today, February 19. is ​Losar, the Tibetan New Year. This coming Sunday Pema Osel (Buddhist center in Vershire), we will celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Wood Sheep with a lhasang (smoke offering ceremony) to get the year off to a good start. It will be an opportunity to make aspirations for the coming year for the benefit of ourselves and others.

The lhasang will start at 2:30 and go for about an hour. Following that, you are welcome to join us inside for tea and cookies.
