The Friends of the Horticulture Farm is a grassroots organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing and promoting the significant plant collections and natural areas of the UVM Horticultural Research Center in South Burlington, Vermont for education, research, and public enrichment.
Wednesday, Feb 11 6:00 - 8:00pm "Starting and Managing Your Own Bee Hive" Certified Beekeeper Scott Wilson of Heavenly Honey Apiary will talk about the current state of Vermont bees and beekeepers, what it takes to start and manage honey bee hives, uses of hive products, threats to honeybees, and a honey tasting. Qualifies for EMG-Education hours. Fee: Members $10 Non-members $15
