Sue Morse Tonight in Richmond!

Anyone who’s been to a Sue Morse slide show knows they’re not to be missed. And tonight this acclaimed naturalist, writer and photographer will be back in Richmond talking about her first-hand experiences and knowledge of wildlife ranging from caribou and polar bears to arctic fox and beluga whales.

Sue’s topic tonight is “Animals of the North: What Will Global Climate Change Mean to Them?” She’ll show the links between the lives of those animals and what is taking place thousands of miles from their home habitat. She’ll also describe what people can do right now to slow or even stop the disappearance of these iconic creatures from the territories they’ve roamed since the last ice age.

The talk starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. upstairs at the Richmond Free Library. There’s no charge for admission. The talk is being sponsored by the Richmond Conservation Commission, Bolton Conservation Commission, Richmond Climate Action Committee, Richmond Land Trust and Alison’s Aquatics. Tip: Come early to ensure a seat, as Sue’s slides and stories usually draw standing-room-only crowds.
