The whole world is invited to celebrate Tu B'Shvat, the New Year of the Trees, with a Kabbalistic Tu B’Shvat seder, led by Rabbi David Seidenberg, next Wednesday, February 4, from 6-7:30 pm, at Beth Jacob Synagogue, 10 Harrison Ave., Montpelier. A light meal of grape juice, fruit, nuts and soup will be served. Appropriate for children ages 10+, but younger ones are welcome. PLEASE RSVP by Tuesday Feb 3!
Rabbi David Seidenberg directs neohasid.org, teaches eco-Torah, Jewish thought, melodies and songs, throughout North America. His book, Kabbalah and Ecology: God's Image in the More-Than-Human World, is being published by Cambridge University Press this coming month.
