The Winter Meeting of the Waterbury Historical Society will be on Sunday, January 18th at 2pm. It will be in the downstairs of the White Meeting House (Cong. Church) 8 No Main St Waterbury.

After a brief business meeting the program will be a review of "A Walk Through Waterbury" - Small Town, Big History, book.

The book was created by students at the Thatcher Brook School through a generous grant from The Susan Sebastian Foundation Inc. The students chronicled the Town's history with the help of Waterbury Historical Society members.

The presentation will include stories and photos of historical buildings in Waterbury Village. Some students will speak to the history of the pictures. This is a wonderful exercise by the students of our town's history. We encourage all to attend We will have a dessert pot luck. If you wish, bring your favorite dessert to share. We will provide the beverage.

Books will be on sale and all proceeds will go to the Historical Society. Everyone is welcome for this free event.
