On Saturday, August 31 at 10am-2pm and again on Tuesday, Sept 4 at 6-9pm, MOXIE Productions will hold auditions for roles in popular and classic American plays to be presented in the “American Favorites” Reading Series September-May in Waterbury. Auditions are being held at the MOXIE Studio, 524 Sweet Road, Waterbury Center, and actors are sought for plays such as “Steel Magnolias,” “A Streetcar Named Desire,” “Picnic”, and “Our Town” among others. Prepared monologues are preferred, but sides will be available for those without. All ages, ethnicities, and abilities are encouraged to attend. Appointments and walk-ins welcome.
