Come one, come all! Counter the demands of the holiday with simplicity. Join South Starksboro Friends (Quaker) Meeting as we gather to sing carols and share silence at our annual Christmas Day Sing from 4pm to 5pm on Christmas Day, December 25th. The Sing will be in our candlelit 200 year-old meetinghouse at 430 Dan Sargent Rd., South Starksboro, just off Rt. 17 east—about 10 minutes from Bristo Village. For the first half hour, we'll sing resounding carols that will shake the rafters. Then we'll light candles and settle into silent worship for the rest of the hour. And afterwards, we'll share cookies and warm drinks to warm you for the journey home. All are welcome. If you need directions, just call Ellen at 453-5857.
