SHHS Presents: Island Winters Were Fun! Growing up in South Hero in the 40s-70s
March 18, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Worthen Library
The South Hero Historical Society is excited to bring you tales from winters long ago. From wool snowsuits in the 40s to snowmobile parties in the 60s and 70s, come hear real life stories from growing up in the 40s by Sue Crowley and Joyce Blow. We'll also have snowmobile tales from the 60s and 70s by Heidi Chamberlain.
Set your calendars for the third Tuesday of every month. The South Hero Historical Society is planning to bring you local history programs every month from March to October. Programs will start at 6:30 PM at the Worthen Library in South Hero.
Everyone is welcome at our programs. All programs are child friendly and a wonderful opportunity for young and old to learn about our history together. Refreshments will be provided, too. All programs are recorded and available to view on the South Hero Bicentennial Museum webpage under Historical Society.
Hope to see you there!!!
