Sunday, February 23 at 3:00, Paul Miller and Jess O'Brien, two members of The Pitt Crew band, will perform at the Adamant Community Club. Jess O'Brien is a singer-songwriter extraordinaire who lives in Plainfield. Brought up in Michigan listening to a variety of music, Jess's style touches on several genres, blues, folk, country, and rock and roll to name a few. She writes poignant songs, melodically rich, grounded in an earthy guitar style. Paul, originally from Bronx, New York, has been a mainstay of the Central Vermont music scene for fifty years. He has been a member of Coco and the Lonesome Road Band, Breakaway and the Bluegrass Gospel Project, and currently he is the bass player for the Motown/Americana style band, PittCrew.
Together, Jess and Paul bring a mutual love of harmony to the duets they perform. From the Everly Brothers to Jess's own creations, one can hear the timing and tone of two voices blending seamlessly together. Admission is free. For more information, call 802-454-7103.
