The U-32 board will consider the 2015-16 school year budget at its regular meeting at our school on 17 December at 6:00 p.m. If the board approves the budget, it will be submitted for voters of our five towns to ratify on Town Meeting Day, 3 March 2015.

We have a dual mandate to assure excellence in educational opportunity for our students but at an affordable rate for our voters and taxpayers. These two aims are not always easy to reconcile, especially under the kind of fiscal pressure we face this year.

We owe a great debt of gratitude to those of you who attended our two budget forums and provided valuable feedback. And we welcome all who wish to be present for our discussion and vote on 17 December!
