Poultney Historical Society and Poultney Public Library will be presenting "Made in Poultney", a lecture about the history of manufacturing in our town, at Poultney Public Library on Saturday, February 22 at 1:00pm.
Historian Ennis Duling and Librarian Rebecca Cook will talk about a wide variety of goods manufactured in Poultney throughout the history of the town. Poultney industries made massive manufacturing equipment, musical instruments, apparel, innovative stoves, and so much more! Rebecca will focus on items made for women and by women, while Ennis will focus on those industries impacted by fire, ice, and flood.
