We are excited to announce that we will be offering an Introduction to Pilates Class this Winter! This class will be a 4 week enrollment and is the perfect way to get started with Pilates and join our group class schedule.
We will cover how to engage the core, basic placement for exercises, and breathing while doing Pilates. We will work on the mat and Reformers and go over how to set up the equipment for your height and make adjustments during a class. Each class will build on the previous so, by the end of the 4 classes you will feel confident setting up your own equipment and following instructions in a group class.
It would be a good option for someone who is new to Pilates, is comfortable learning new movements in a group setting, and who doesn't currently have any major restrictions. We will talk about basic modifications to the difficulty of exercises, but if you are looking for more detailed instruction on modifying for a recent injury or long term issue, a private session is the best way to start.
The class is limited to 5 participants. This will allow us to give individualized corrections and save time for questions throughout the course.

$150/person
-includes 4 classes + a pair of Pilates grip socks*
What to Bring/Wear:

-athletic clothes you are comfortable moving in
