Mrs. Doubtfire is a comedy film directed by Chris Columbus. The screenplay, written by Randi Mayem Singer and Leslie Dixon, is an adaptation of Anne Fine's 1987 novel Madame Doubtfire. Produced by Mark Radcliffe, Marsha Garces Williams, and Robin Williams, the movie features Williams in the lead role. The cast also includes Sally Field, Pierce Brosnan, Harvey Fierstein, and Robert Prosky. The story centers on a recently divorced actor who transforms himself into an elderly female housekeeper in order to spend time with his children. Movie night is by donation, which helps support events at The Williamsville Hall, which is ADA-compliant and located at 35 Dover Rd in Williamsville.
