Carpenter-Carse Library is offering a STEM-themed book club for mid-grade readers (generally grades 3-5, though we're happy to consider younger participants) who want to see what it's like to be part of a regular book club! We'll read a different book each month, then get together on the third Tuesday of the month for discussion, snacks, and a STEM craft or activity. Many students listen to the audio book version of our monthly selection, so please keep in mind that audio books are always an option. We will be reading a kids' nonfiction picture book together in our January meeting, and students will receive February's selection to take home and read on their own.
