Please join us for the unveiling of a new MLK Jr statue at Pierson Library on February 21 at 4 PM. The statue was created by Shelburne's own Chris Sharp, who also created the pencils and the fire hydrant sculptures. Several other versions of this "I Have a Dream" sculpture have been on display at the Obama White House, Smithsonian museums and the National Parks Department in Washington DC.
The reception is on February 21, 4 – 5 with light refreshments and a short program celebrating the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
