Hello South Enders!
You're invited to the 4th annual Huladay Market tomorrow, December 17, 2024 from 4 – 8PM! The Huladay Market is an ode to the entrepreneurs and small businesses that have been cultivated at the heart of the South End where Burlington City Arts, The S.P.A.C.E Gallery, Soda Plant and others call home. The event is free for vendors and artists to participate and is also free of charge for shoppers, tickets are not required but tickets are encouraged. Over 60 local Vermont artists, makers, and creators will be featured at this year's event There will be live music and food and drinks to enjoy while shopping.
New this year, Hula is partnering with beloved Vermont company, Darn Tough to sweeten the experience for shoppers. For every $50 spent, they will donate a pair of socks to COTS which provides an array of support services for people experiencing homelessness across Vermont. Shoppers will receive a coupon after spending $50 and will be asked to drop the coupon off at the front desk so we can tally how many pairs of socks are to be donated.
As our neighbors, we wanted to share a little tip: if you're looking for a quieter, more relaxed shopping experience, we recommend stopping by between 4 and 5 PM. The market kicks off with a calm atmosphere, giving you a chance to shop at your own pace.
