Learn to create unusual and traditional festive structures made entirely from cutting and folding paper. We'll learn how to create a variety of items which will include a tricky looking spiral ornament, dimensional snowflake/starbursts, and some special boxes.

This workshop is for adults and is ideal for teachers and parents wanting to learn techniques they can easily teach to children.

Expect to have fun making something out of nothing, folding up papers that can be decorated and decorative, and celebrating the simple joys of what a piece of paper can do and the festive pleasure it can provide.

Dec. 7, 2-5 pm Gingerbread Cookie Gift Boxes

Suitable for holiday greetings and gifts. Each participant will decorate 12 gingerbread cookies with holidays themes: Peace and Love, Evergreen Trees, Lighted Tractors, Red Barns, and Cows and Horses sporting wreaths... You will take home three boxed-sets of decorated cookies with their own gingerbread gift tags.

December 8, 2-5 pm - Gingerbread Houses

Who needs a kit? We will build a village scene with structural elements (walls, gable ends and roofs) pre-made of gingerbread. Learn how to brace walls and attach roofs securely and add architectural details all with royal icing. All materials are provided. Get the recipe for building-grade gingerbread to take home along with your masterpiece,
